In Rome, can we use copies of our CDC cards to enter attractions, or will we need to carry the real thing? We also have an app from NYC, where we live, that we have entered our vaccine info.
Thanks
You will need the original cards with you. In order to keep them protected, we bought clear plastic sleeves on amazon to hold them and paperclipped them to our passports. We also had photos of all our documents stored on our cell phones.
Are you aware Italy has rolled back it's restrictions and lifted green pass requirements for entering attractions? https://italygreenpass.com/guide-to-green-pass-restrictions-starting-april-1/
If asked for vaccine proof by someone with a scanner/scanning with a smartphone DO NOT show your NYS Excelsior Pass! The QR code will not scan in their system, and the rejection will just muddle the issue.
