coopculture.it confusion!

I'm finding http://ecm.coopculture.it to be so confusing!

  1. I want to buy tickets for the "COLOSSEUM, ROMAN FORUM-PALATINE AND CURRENT EXHIBITIONS - ENTRANCE", but it gives me a list to select from that it says is "Mandatory"...but none of the options apply! The options are "Adult EU", "Adult Ita", "Adult Extra EU", "Over 65"! Like I say, none of these apply! Do I just select whatever and not worry about it?!
  2. Also, once you enter the Colosseum/Forum/Palatine area, can you stay as long as you want?

Thanks,

Paul

I believe "extra EU" means "outside EU"--in other words, anyone from outside the European Union, which of course includes the US.

Paul, choose "Adult Extra EU" if you are purchasing tickets only for adults and aren't an EU citizen. And choose the "Print at home" option for your tickets.

Yes, once you enter, you can stay as long as you wish. Understand that without a timed-entry ticket to the Colosseum, you can't enter that one before 2:00 PM.

Sometime you find on country web sites that the translations are often made by non-native English speakers. So you have to do a little extra translation yourself. The US is not always the US.

"Sometime you find on country web sites that the translations are often made by non-native English speakers. "

And the translations are often not done by a person, but by software, so they can be very "creative" and hard to understand.

"The US is not always the US."

Yes, if you don't see "United States" on an Italian website, look for "Stati Uniti."
