I was planning on booking the underground colosseum tickets which go on sale Aug 21 for September dates. We will be in Rome from the 21-24 of September. I looked on the site and it is showing only 15 days in Sept for tickets?? Any additional help would be greatly appreciated. We have seen the Colosseum a few years ago but would like to do the underground option this time.

It doesn't look like the tours will be conducted for the last two weeks of September and for the first 10 days the tour won't include the arena floor. There is a special event going on along with refurbishment so they have reduced tours for September.

Thank you both for the information! I am going to plan another option for us. With just two full days in Rome I'm glad we have already seen most of the major sites in a previous trip.
