Coopculture Colosseum website update + possible errors?

Hmmm. It looks like the coopculture folks have done some work to their tour reservation pages..which is good as it appears to make locating remaining available tickets for individual dates easier than previously.

What's odd, though, it that they look to contain some errors. For instance, the right-hand column of this page lists the "didactic" adult tour prices for the underground or belvedere at € 9,00 +€ 2,00 reservation fee.

When you go to the actual ticket purchasing pages for both of these (I'm testing tours in English), text states that tours are € 5,00 + reservation fee "just to collect onsite". OK, sort of makes it sound like there's a discount for collecting in person versus printing at home. However a test purchase of tickets still available Dec. brings up a per-ticket total price of € 11.00 (€ 9,00 +€ 2,00), which has been the usual price for underground tours. These are for the over age 12 tickets.

As I can't test-book all the way through the process, I can't see where that published € 5,00 (€ 7,00 with fee) per-tour price comes in, unless it's a lower collect-onsite versus print-at-home option. That doesn't appear to be the case, though, and could be an error? As the forum sees a lot of questions from confused ticket purchasers, I'm just curious if anyone can shed some light on this discrepancy should the question arise?

I saw you mention the issue earlier this week. If they've made an actual price change to 9 euros for the basic tour, it wasn't revealed in this year's book research. I'd probably check in January for additional tweaks to the web details.

Hi Laura! Oh gosh, I didn't even look at that the "basic" arena-only tour and it's funky too: still listed on the FRONT page as € 5,00 but on the ORDER page as €9,00 plus reservation fee. Weird. That one also used to only be reservable by phone but it looks like you can do it online now: an improvement!

Was thinking the same that maybe this is a work in process and they'll have it all together by Jan 1 or sooner? Worth the question as I thought maybe the confusion was MY brain without enough coffee this morning! :O)

You have never been able to print tour tickets at home, they've always been picked up on site. I think the amount on the booking page is in error. All other mentions of the price have it for the 9 euros with the 2 euros reservation fee.

Yes, I know that it hasn't been possible to print tour tickets at home but what with an apparent update of the site and some procedures - such as now being able to book the general € 5,00 arena tour online - that was possibly a change as well. Worth the question, anyway, but I think they're probably just text errors too.
