Coopculture Collosseum tickets - use day BEFORE booked tour?

Question - the Coopculture ticket allows 2 consecutive day access to Forum, Palatine, etc, in addition to the scheduled tour; can the 'extra' day occur BEFORE the guided tour day? (The day after we're across town at the Vatican.)

Thanks!

On our Rome trip last month, we went to the Palatine Hill/Roman Forum the first of our two days, and had a Colosseum reservation on day 2. You could conceivably go to the Colosseum on Day 1, but you only get one admission with your pass, so then you couldn’t get in again on Day 2, even though you had a tour booked. Once you enter the Colosseum with your 2-day pass, the only way to get in again is by purchasing another 2-day pass.

Thanks Cyn, we wanted to confirm we could access the Forum, etc, day before tour so we'd have more options on what to do. Though I expect we'll simply do the RS walk of the Forum after the Collosseum tour.

The ticket takers/guards/greeters at the Palatine Hill entrance were asking everyone if they’d already been to the Colosseum. Not sure why, as no one was recording the answers as if it was a marketing survey. Maybe they’d gotten a bunch of tourists recently who thought the were heading to the Colosseum and were disappointed to find out later that they weren’t at the Colosseum?!? Or they assumed that everybody would head straight to the Colosseum, without delay, before going anywhere else in Rome. The thought it was maybe a bit odd that we went to the Palatine Hill first, but they did admit us.

For the Vatican, being there as early in the day as possible will pay off in many fewer people, less stress, smoother experience. I’m not a morning person, but the effort to be there early was essential.

Oh yeah, I read the comments here & elsewhere and booked a 7:30AM (hour before opening) guided tour + breakfast for the Vatican. In Florence we've got a 8:30AM ticket for the Uffizi. So hoping we'll be in a good place crowd-wise for those. :)
