coop culture underground tour ticket purchase

I just ordered two tickets for the underground tour online on coopculture. I received an email saying that my credit card has been authorized and I have an order number. I did not receive anything that says that I have actual tickets with the date/time/tour type/number of people. Do they send out an email with the ticket information later? What do I use to gain entrance to the the tour?
Is there a way to email their office if I need to get the ticket information?

Thanks

You should have received an email with a booking code, time of tour etc. As you seem to have received the email from Unicredit what you could do is forward this email to [email protected] saying that you did not receive the confirmation email with the booking code. You may need to say what date and time you booked and that it is for the Underground and Third Ring tour.

I had a similar problem with a museum and this worked.

You need to email them to see if they can find the reservation and remail it. Sometimes even though the purchase seems to go through there is a glitch in the system and the actual purchase is spit out. You get a confirmation of payment then an email with a refund.

Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder. Sometimes it ends up in there if it's been sent.

I sent coopculture an email and have not heard back yet. My credit card has a pending transaction on it. I purchased two tours at 9:02 AM (Rome time). There were 25 openings on the tour at the time. I certainly hope that they honor the purchase.

I just received this email:
we inform you that due to a technical error your tickets have not been correctly generated and we have just forwarded a refund request to our administration office. In few days, according to the technical times of the Credit Institute that issued you card, you will get the refund on your credit card. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please to make a new reservation.

Of course, now the tours are 100% booked and it is impossible to make another reservation. I consider it a travesty that they operate in this manner. After waking up in the middle of the night to purchase these tickets and having this occur, I have a very negative opinion of coopculture as a website and a business. I followed all of the advice received on how to book this tour and made significant effort to do it so this turn of events does not sit well with me and I warn other travelers to BE AWARE of purchasing on their system.

Well, I got lucky this morning and was able to find 2 tickets for the Underground tour and when I used the website for CoopCulture it actually worked correctly. It is not the day and time that I specifically wanted but this can work in our schedule.

This does not negate the fact that the entire process is flawed and their website / IT system needs to be improved.

It's unfortunate that this happened to you but I suspect technical glitches of this nature are rare (first time I've heard of this particular issue on coopculture, anyway) and can occur with any web-based site at all. The more usual problem for that site is so many people on it at once, when Underground tickets become available, that it bogs the system way down.

Glad you got tickets after all.
