I missed the date that the July tickets went on sale and the third ring tours are sold out for our stay in Rome, July 8-10. TicketItaly has two spots available for 66.00 for two people. I've seen other tours on Dark Rome, and Viator, but they include the Forum and Palatine Hill and are over $100. Are there any options I've missed? Any recommendations?

The other option would be to take an alternate language tour through the official website. These usually have slots available. You won't be able to ask any questions in English and the commentary will be in either Spanish or Italian but at least you'll get to view the underground areas. Be sure to read up on the history of the structure before getting to Rome if you go with this option.
