Cooking Tour to Italy?

Would anyone have recommendations for a tour to Italy, which would include food/wine/cooking classes, stops at wineries and dining at small, unusual restaurants? I've never done a tour but, if food was the focus, I might be persuaded...

Thank you so much!

Wow!~. This looks fabulous but is , unfortunately, a bit pricier than I had hoped. Have to keep looking!!

True, it's a splurge, but the 12 person limit sounds delightful, and you have books and blogs to judge them by in advance.
As an alternative, you could book some day tours on an ad hoc basis.
Hopefully you will get a range of options. good luck!

I would second the Elizabeth and Sophie Minchilli tours. While I have not taken the week long tour, my husband and I did take a food tour with Sophie in Rome. We enjoyed it. We just came back from a 3 week tour in Italy. We were in Puglia, Emilia-Romana, and Piedmonte. We did several food/wine tours. If you can let us know what areas cities, I may have recommendations for you.

It sounds wonderful but, at more than a thousand dollars a day (for one), plus airfare, it's more than I would care to spend....

Has anyone ever tried Go Ahead, Intrepid or Food and Wine Vacations? These are less costly and sound (on their websites) quite nice.
