Hello! I'd like to do a one day cooking school in Bologna at the beginning of an European vacation last year. Does anyone here have a recommendation? If not Bologna, nearby towns will work too.

A few years back my wife did a one day cooking class in Bologna with a couple friends. The name was "Taste of Italy", it's basically a one woman operation but all of the ladies enjoyed it tremendously and highly recommend it. The woman who teaches it speaks perfect English. http://www.taste-of-italy.com/ is the website. I think we paid about 100 euros for the all day class and the wife said it was definitely worth it.

When researching a Bologna trip that I ultimately didn't take, I thought Taste of Italy, linked above, was gonna be the one. Highly recommended on Trip Advisor, and the whole package looks amazing.
