cooking schools

Anybody have any experience with the cooking schools? And if so where/city did you take them? Wondering what my options are.

Karen - Check out divina cucina (just google it). It is a cooking school in Florence. The woman who runs it is an American expat. I haven't been to her school but her blog is great. Have fun.

Karen, there are two that I am aware of in Florence, Italy. My wife and I attended the Scoula di Arte Culinaria. The one-day cost for two was 468 Euro. I believe it's about 250 Euro for a one-day class for one. The website is http://www.cordonbleu-it.com. (They are not associated or affiliated with the French Cordon Bleu). The second is Divina Cucina (www.divinacucina.com) run by Judy Witts Francini whom I believe is an American Ex-pat. We really enjoyed our class but we understand that Judy's classes are also excellent. Her one-day cost is 290 Euro. Check out the websites. I see Judy's comments a lot on another travel site. She's known as Diva online.
