Cooking in Tuscany

Has anyone taken any of the day cooking classes in the Tuscany region?

Tracey, I don't have experience yet but have signed up for a cooking class in May with Verrazzano. The class descriptions are in the website: www.verrazzano.com. Check it out. To me it sounds wonderful and I can't wait. What time of year and how soon are you going?

I plan to be there in September. I went to the website mentioned but did not find anything regarding cooking classes...

Tracey... I was mistaken, what I signed up for with Verrazzano was a special winery tour with lunch. What I have been researching but not signed up for yet is a cooking class with www.accidentaltourist.com. Sorry for the mistake.

Tracey, My wife and I spent 6 days in Montepulciano, last Oct. We stayed at an agriturismo outside of town because they offered a cooking class. While we unfortunately never took the class, we did spend a wonderful evening in the kitchen with Giacomo, Christianna, and Mama Ornella, making a simple but exquisite 5 course dinner. It is an experience I will never forget. Try to spend some time in the kitchen with someone who really loves cooking, and you can actually see their love for food! Enjoy! Jeff
