cooking classes near Montepulciano

I'm looking for updated info on cooking classes near Montepulciano. I'm interested in 1/2 day, reasonably priced cooking class for our group of 4 people. Hoping to prepare a 3 course meal then sit down with a glass of wine to enjoy it !

Don't have my map with me. If Lucca is close to Montepulciano, I have a wonderful cooking class to recommend there. Just let me know if it is close.

I'm interested, too. Karren, I looked and Lucca is a couple hours away.

Contact Alessandra Federici in Cortona. She has a wonderful cooking class, loads of fun with the sit down meal and definitely wine to enjoy. She meets you at a local cafe in the morning, takes you shopping in the markets to buy the food and wine for the meal, then off to her house for the unforgettable experience. When you sign up for the class, she will email you and ask what you would like to make, likes/dislikes, and come up with menu options. When you meet her, she has a take home printout of the recipes for the dishes you will be making. We had a group of four, and it was one of our most memorable and amazing experiences of our many trips to Italy. Great fun and conversation. It is an easy drive from Montepulciano. 40 minutes - 31.4 km - lovely drive actually. Cortona is a lovely village to visit, and the experience you have with Alessandra will be something you talk about for years to come. You might consider a night in Cortona. We loved it there.
