Can anyone recommend a one day cooking class near Florence?
No person experience, but have seen lots of rave reviews and she is very active over at slowtrav. http://www.divinacucina.com/
In Florence, my wife and I both took a 1-day Tuscan cooking class at La Scoula di Arte Culinaria Cordon Bleu with Cristina Blasi and Gabriella Mari. The class was about 6 hours long and we still recommend this cooking school. Here's the link. http://www.cordonbleu-it.com/english/about-us.html Judy Witts Francini runs the Divina Cocina cooking school in Florence. Her school is well known. I'll duplicate the link from above. http://www.divinacucina.com/ I believe that Accidental Tourist also has a cooking school in Florence.
Thanks Larry and Ken,
Thanks for your advice. I have been reading, reading and reading...I really want an Italian born chef/cook...no disrespect to Judy...it is so hard to choose b/c my partner really is not into cooking and she feels as if it is too much money for her to just watch and drink...I hope to find just what I am looking for...I will read up on your link, Larry...I have checked out the Accidental Tourist too. Ciao
Ron...I appreciate your help...How about any favorite wineries in Tuscany?
