We are going to travel to Italy in 2012. Any suggestions on possibly a tour of the Tuscany region with accomodations at places that may offer cooking classes?
This is all still in the planning stage. Thanks!
My sister and I have a deposit to a cooking school in Lucca, Italy. It was recommended by my travel agent. Check out Chef Paolo Monti on his website; Cucina-italiana.com There are many options, and include travel to the small near by towns in conjunction with the cooking. We will be attending his class September 25, 2011 for one week. We are then extending our trip to Santa Margherita to stay and visit that area and the Cinqua Terre on our own.

If you are going to be in Rome I can suggest a great cooking class. We went last Augustmy husband, myself and our children (ages 22 & 18) We all had a great time. Everyone participatedwe had a group of 11. Chef Andrea was awesome, and it was one of the best meals we had during our whole trip. www.cookingclassesinrome.com
