I am sorry I am bombing this forum with questions today, but looks like its a great resource and just by looking through already posted questions I got lots of great tips. Has anyone taken cooking classes in the Tuscany region that were worth recommending?
In Cortona we took Alesandra's Cucina Cooking class and learned to cook a 5 course Italian meal. Since our trip in Sept, we no longer buy store bought pasta, only home made. I'd found her though RS helpline about a year ago.
Thanks Karen, I cant find an info online on your suggestion. Here is something I found on this forum by searching...

I see so-so reviews for InTavola. I will keep searching.
Sounds like Cordon Bleu is getting good reviews as well. http://cordonbleu-it.com/
None of them respond to my emails... is really calling the only way to contact them to make reservations?
When I took a cooking class at Lake Como I had to call to make a reservation.
In you are in Florence don't miss taking a lesson with Cook Eat Italian. I went on a small group class (six of us) with Manuela on Sicilian cooking and had a great time. She is really passionate about cooking and always took time to explain what she was doing. There are so many different cooking schools in Tuscany, but some are just way too expensive (like 300 euros a day!) and the cheaper ones on closer inspection seem to have group sizes of between 20-30 students. Cook Eat Italian was just right -small group and about 80 Euros per person. The reviews on Trip Advisor are all positive- http://www.tripadvisor.it/Attraction_Review-g187895-d2518897-Reviews-Cook_Eat_Italian-Florence_Tuscany.html
