Any suggestions for reasonable prices for cooking classes? We will be staying 3 days in both Trapani and Realmonte, 2 days Scoglitti, 2 days near Taormina.

Hi Joy,
Our tour group took a class with Chef Massimo in Taormina several years ago. Our Sicily tour was a cooking tour. Our local guide lives in Taormina so she was familiar with this class. It included a market tour in the morning to see the fresh fish and pick up the ingredients for the class. We made several Sicilian specialties such as Caponata, hand-made pasta and sauce, etc. If I recall the chef prepared some fish as well. The lunch was accompanied by Sicilian wines and dessert. There was plenty to eat.
Chef Massimo was charming and entertaining. We all had a great time. We all got an apron, and recipes to take with us. [email protected].
