Cooking classes in Cinque Terre

A friend and I are taking the Rick Steves My Way tour of Italy (Venice, Lake Como, 5Terre, Florence, Assisi, Rome) in May. We were interested in taking the RS recommended cooking class in Lake Como and the only full day we have while there is on a Wednesday. Wouldn't you know it, they are closed on Wednesdays! So now we're wondering about trying one while in Cinque Terre. Has anyone been to the cooking class in Monterosso? I've been to 5 Terre multiple times and my friend is not interested in hiking the trails (afraid of heights) so we're thinking a cooking class might be fun. Is the class worthwhile? Is the chef's English skills good? Is there lots of hands on? Are the recipes practical for the return home? Other thoughts?

Are you referring to Cinque Terre Cooking School? I would like to know as well. We'll be in Santa Margherita Ligure in May and I'm looking for a cooking class for my wife and daughter. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

While not an official cooking class, we had a more casual cooking lesson experience in Monterosso last October that we quite enjoyed. Check your PM for more info.

I'd very much appreciate the information on the informal cooking class in Cinque Terre.
