Can anyone suggest a cooking class in Rome for families. The children are preteens and one teen. I would like one where they really participate, but that is not extremely expensive. I would prefer they make more than pizza, something like pastas etc. there are so many to choose from, but I would like more hands on with an authentic feel. Thanks!
We took a class with Chef Andrea Consoli several years ago. It was one of our trip highlights. So much so in fact that I have recommended this class to others who have taken it and they loved it too. My daughter was with us and she was just graduating high school at the time. The Chef was very good with her. His classes are completely interactive. Following the class, you sit down all together after cooking and eat with The Chef, wine pairings optional. Our meal was seasonal and he accommodated food allergies/preferences. His place is located in Trastevere.
