I enjoyed the class and wine tasting from Accidental Tourist. They pick you up in Florence and drive out to a nice villa and then a private home for the cooking lesson. Lunch is what you cooked.

Are you after a one-day class, three-day or what? My wife and I both attended a wonderful one-day class at Scoula de Arte Cucina in Florence. We really enjoyed the class and the instructors. 468 Euro for two people. Their website can be viewed at www.cordonbleu-it.com. There is also www.divinacucina.com. Judy Witts Francini is known as "Diva" on another travel site. Her one-day class is a bit more expensive but both schools seem to be very good.

Hi Des,
My Mom and I attended a cooking class at Badia A Coltibouno. This is about a 1-hour drive from Florence. They have 1, 3 or 5 day courses. I can't rave enough about this place. The cost is 155 Euro, but it was a great memory that we will have forever. You go home with the recipes for the 5-6 dishes that you make. We went in October, and we decided to relive our Italian holiday and cook the same recipes for Christmas Eve Dinner! Check it out:
