We’re spending 3 nights each in Florence & Monterosso. Besides the museums in Florence, I’m looking for a recommendation for a good cooking class (gnocchi &/or gelato, anyone?) for my 12 year old & I. Won’t have a car, so prefer something in Florence itself, for the time consideration as well. Also looking for other activities in CT/Monterosso besides hiking and the beach. Thanks in advance!
I’ve taken several excellent classes at MaMa Florence, https://www.mamaflorence.com/en . I believe they have specific kids-oriented classes, too
We took a cooking class while we were staying in Monterosso last spring. The classes are at a restaurant at the top of the mountain, but they drove down and picked us up.
Great class with plenty of wine, and we did make gnocchi. It is called the cinque terra cooking school.
Great time.

I enjoyed the cooking class I did with Accidental Tourist - https://www.accidentaltourist.com/cooking-class-evening/ It's in a gorgeous family-owned home in the countryside around Florence. And it's small group - only 8 people.
I also enjoyed this pizza and gelato making class: https://www.florencetown.com/161-pizza-gelato-cooking-class.html

HI. I am traveling to Florence and I booked a private market tour and cooking session through Chef Factory. It looked a bit more modern than the others.
