Cooking class or Foodie Tour

My wife and I are wanna be foodies and would enjoy a day cooking class or foodie tour. An overnight foodie is tour is also possible, if a budget option is available.

Where will you be staying in Italy? There are cooking classes in Florence and Perugia. www.divinacucina.com (Judy Witts Francini) has moved her cooking school to Colle Val d'Elsa in more rural Tuscany. She has a U.S. number (925-402-4569). For an interesting gourmet food tour out of Parma, check out http://www.parmagolosa.it/parmagolosa/percorsienogastronomicieng.html. Also check out http://www.foodvalleytravel.com/Web/Detail.aspx?XRI=5&Lang=ENG Again, these are both out of Parma

I heard a good review for a "foodie" tour in Florence recently. We took a cooking class in Siena ourselves. I think knowing where you will be though would be a start.
