Cooking class in Varenna--can't get a response

I have written to Il Caminetto twice to inquire about his cooking class in Varenna. No response. Has anyone has recent success in making reservations? Any idea on how best to get in touch to reserve? Need to call? Thanks.

Wow, this sounds like a great experience. I just emailed them too, we are going in late September. I will report back if I hear anything. Thanks for sharing this tip!

Well, I got an immediate answer to my email. The cost is 65 euros per person and they have classes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays. The email they used to reply to me was: [email protected]. Is that the one you used? Maybe you spelled it wrong?
By the way, I must thank you - we would not have known about this highly rated experience without your post. We booked!

jlinder-crow, if you didn't spell it wrong, have you checked your spam folder? Emails from a sender your spam screener doesn't recognise may wind up there.

Joan,

You're in for a treat. It's a fun day, lots of cooking demonstrations, lots of talk, lots of wine, and lots of food. If you didn't already know, they'll pick you up in Varenna and take you back for free. If you have the time, have dinner there, on another night. They'll pick up for that too. We've eaten there twice and it's one of two best places we've eaten in Italy.

Thanks TC! We will do just as you suggest, and dine at night an extra time.
Hopefully our original poster has heard back from them!
