Cooking Class in Sicily?

My wife and I are are looking for a 1/2 to 3/4 day cooking class somewhere in Sicily. Haven't been there before, so have no geographical preference as to where it is - just looking for a relatively small class that would provide a unique opportunity to experience Sicilian food/cooking.

Thanks, Terry.

Hi Terry:

We traveled with friends in Sicily in 2017 who took this class Cooking in Ortigia. I believe it was just the two of them and they were very happy with the class, which included a visit to the market. They also came away with the recipes.

Hope this helps!

We stayed at this hotel (with some rooms) facing the water in Ortigia (just across the bridge from Siracusa) last spring.

The hotel is part of a large family home that has been subdivided. The proprietress, who lives on the opposite side of the big building, offers small format cooking courses in her home. You begin your day by walking across the corridor from your hotel room to her private home. The website describes it as "not a school but a simple demonstration of Sicilian dishes in a [sic] informal setting."

A gal we met took the 1-day cooking class (she happened to be the only participant that day) and really enjoyed it, starting with their visit to the outdoor fresh market in Ortigia:

We are looking for this as well. Found a cooking class by GoSicily just outside of Agrigento in Favara. Anyone have thoughts?
Also, any cooking classes in Marsala?
