A few years ago, my wife and I had the pleasure of participating in a cooking class in an agriturismo facility in Montalcino and loved it. Next June we will take our 3 oldest grandchildren (14, 16, 18) on a tour of Italy, which will include Siena. Any suggestions for a cooking class in or around Siena? Grazie.

For a cooking class in Siena, we have taken two classes with Costanza Piccolomini. The class is in her home, and she makes it quite fun. (This is not a professional school. It is an Italian woman cooking in her home kitchen.) You will make three courses, and all are served with wine (of course!!!) Her information is: [email protected] and phone at +39 339 279 3503. Thanks Charylm. I like your suggestion to get an authentic Italian experience. I have a rich Italian heritage, so cooking from a real Italian Mama would be a wonderful experience.
As you suggested, I had done a search, but wanted to get more recent information. Many of the places posted in the past are no longer in service.
I also did a search on the Cesarine website, and found and interesting cooking class in a farm house 20 min from Siena.: https://cesarine.com/en/experiences/cooking-class-in-an-old-farmhouse-in-the-sienese-countryside-yM9sgYhMsM. We will have a car, so travel into the countryside could be a fun experience.
