Cooking class in Firenze

We are two couples traveling to Firenze for two nights, Sunday 9/21 and Monday 9/22. We are interested in taking a cooking class. Does anyone have any experience with this? We are wondering about cost, length of time, etc. Grazie!

Hi, although we are not traveling until October, I thought I would let you know there are a number of reasonably priced classes that have rave reviews available on Viator, each with a slightly different theme. We are going to take the farmhouse one -- even though it takes a good part of the day, we decided it would be a great experience including a trip through the market, cooking several courses, and enjoying wine throughout the day! Walks of Italy has a few as well, but they are over our budget :) Have fun!

We arrive in florence sept 22!!! We have signed up for the pizza and gelato making class (3hrs) that evening at 6pm through Florencetown tours. It was in rick's book. With the rick steves discount it was 81€ for both my husband and i. So looking forward to it! When we get back all of our friends want us to hold a class and show them the things we will learn. So excited for our trip!! Hope you find a cooking class to suit your trip and your interests.
