My wife will like to take a one day, or half day class while we are visiting Sorrento, Siena or CT. Any suggestions?
Thanks
We spent a night cooking with Elisabetta in Siena. It was a wonderful evening. We made our own fresh (and misshapen) ravioli, chicken with grapes and cantocini and sampled 3 wines while with her. It was a wonderful experience. [email protected]
Ken,
Thanks, sound good, we will check it out.
If you're going to have a car in Sienna, check out Il Vicario. Its near San Gimignano, about 40 minutes from Sienna. I believe they charge 65 euros per person.
Amy, We don't have a car, but I am interested in visiting San Gimignano. I will check out Il Vacario, may be I can do both in one day.
Thanks
Mami Camilla offers cooking classes in Sorrento:

Check out La Cucina del Gusto in Sorrento. Here's the link to a You Tube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbUO4LUKEgs&feature=related Also, you can easily get to San Gimignano from Siena. There is frequent bus service between the two cities.
My wife and I will be staying at Hotel Pasquale in Cinque Terre in June. It is a family owned hotel that offers a cooking class entitled, "Journey's Through Flavour." You can check it out at http://www.hotelpasquale.it/en/cucina/itinerari_gusto.asp The hotel, as well as the other one owned by the family, Villa Steno, is located in Monterosso al Mare. We've vacationed there before and loved it so much we're going back for a week.
