We used Context Rome for a tour of Pallatine Hill, the Colloseum, and Forum. Our guide was a native of Rome and the tour was excellent. She shared lots of good information on other parts of Rome as well. There were only 6 or 8 people in our group and it was well worth the price-otherwise you just wander around unaware of much of the history (our first trip to Rome we attempted to wander the area jet lagged-a definite no-no). We met up for the tour on the opposite side of PH-Via Gregoria I think. Tour last about 4 hours. Have a great trip!

We took a Context Rome tour of the Borghese and it was great. We had 4 people in our group (the other couple were strangers) and an art historian taking us around. Since the time you are allowed to stay in the Borghese is limited, having this wonderful tour really optimized our experience. We also took a tour with them in Venice of the lagoon and the outer islands. I am very impressed with the quality of the tours and plan on using them again this fall.

I've heard good things about them but I believe they are very expensive. The people I've talked to said they were very informative with very small groups. Donna
