Will the Sita bus drop you at the Salerno train station?

My recollection, from quite a few years ago, is that it dropped us near, but not at the station. In our best phrasebook Italian, we asked a shopkeeper, "Dov'e la stazione," and got directions. We had bought our tickets beforehand, so didn't need to deal with anything but the departures signboard.
