Going from Terontola-Cortona to Pisa Airport via train for a 7:45pm British Airways flight to Heathrow. 3:18 train gets to airport at 6:08 with last leg on People Mover from Pisa Centrale. It looks like the dropoff point is close to terminals. Anyone have experience at this airport? Is that too tight?
You've only got roughly an hour and a half (if your train is right on time) to get from the train to the boarding gate, including going through security. Personally I wouldn't want to cut it that close. How far in advance does the airline advise you to be in the terminal? Also consider which country you're a citizen of, and whether Brexit may occur before the date of your flight.
Kind of what I thought. This is about ten days from now so no Brexit worries and we are from the U.S.
