I’m looking at a return from the Sicily tour from Catania to LAX with a 1 hour & 50 minute layover at FCO. It would be one ticket booked thru Delta but flying Alitalia both legs. Is this enough time to connect?

As long as the first flight leave on time. A 1 hour 50 minute connection would seem ideal

Should be fine as you should stay behind security and it is just a matter of changing gates.

I agree with the above. IF your first flight is on time, you should have no issues.

Should be fine.
Of course you can never know 100% for sure what will happen on any given day, but they are obliged to get you to LA if your flight from Sicily is delayed for some reason.
