Computers, DVD player and Cell Phones

We have some concerns about how we can "plug in" while in Italy and make these electronics work or charge. What do we need to have with us to make these work? Thanks

You'll need to get a power converter/transformer. Amazon.com has them, as do many big box stores. I got mine at Target, I think. I took a couple with me because I had my cell phone and my portable DVD player and knew I'd probably be needing to get power to both at the same time.

Paul, hold off buying the "Power Converter"! The first thing you'll need to do is verify the Input Voltage ratings of each of the Chargers you'll be taking. If these state "Input 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz." then all you'll need for Europe will be inexpensive Plug Adapters (Europe style has two round pins).

If you could post the details of the Chargers here, it would be easier to offer more specific advice.

One question regarding the Cell Phone - is it a quad-band GSM model (either AT&T or T-Mobile)? Also, is it "data capable" such as a Blackberry or I-Phone? There are other concerns when roaming with Cell Phones in Europe, so some details on that would help also.

Cheers!
