Hi everyone? Has anyone used the handheld videoguides in the Colosseum in Rome which sense where you are in the site and plays related video clips? According Rick Steves' travel guide 'Italy 2011', there are such videoguides offered in Colosseum. Has anyone used them? Thank you very much in advance!

We didn't use them but did see people with them. We DID use the Rick Steves audiotour for the Colosseum, however, and it was excellent.

Stacey, thank you very much for your reply. I listened to Rick Steves audio-guide and it was very interesting indeed. As you've already been to Colosseum, do you know whether you can enter for free with Roma Pass and then pay the extra 4 euros for a gudied tour offered at the Colosseum tickets booths? Rick Steve's Italy guidebook says that guided tours cost 12 euros for the ticket plus extra 4 euros. I am wondering whether with Roma Pass you can just pay the 4 euros and use a guide?
