Colosseum underground tour sold out

I'm looking at www.ticketclic.it and it seems that the underground tour to the Colosseum is all sold out for the dates I'm interested in (end of May). Is there any other way to make it to the underground tour other than through this website? Will I be able to find tickets on site for this tour, even if I have to stand for hours in a long queue? Many thanks!

The tour is not sold out. Right now they are having issues with online booking. If you check their website you'll see that every single date is unavailable. The only things you can do are to wait or to call to see if you can book by phone. I don't think the problem will last for very long so just keep checking the website. Donna

Donna, you were totally right. I've just checked again and there were free times to choose from. I just booked mine! Many thanks. Maybe you can help me out with an additional question... I've booked the underground tour at a certain time (13:21, Spanish tour). Do I need to tour the Coliseum first (at that time) and then head to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, or can I reverse the order?

If you booked the tour and tickets together (21.50 euros) then you'll need to visit the colosseum and do the tour first. You'll only get your admission ticket when you check in for the tour. After the tour or even the next day you can visit the forum and palatine hill if you have enough time. Donna

Donna - Thanks for all your wonderful insight! I looked at the OmniTicket (www.ticketclic.it) website for tickets to the Underground Tour in July. None of them specifically say "ENG" but "Underground Tour" is written in English. Would I be okay buying these? Also, I see other posts where you've said to go to www.coopculture.it. Is this another company who offers guided tours of the Underground?
Thanks!
