Colosseum underground tour - do you also get Roman Forum/Palantine Hill

If I am lucky enough to get the underground tour when booking for Fall, does that include the Roman Forum/Palantine Hill on your own later that day or the next day? I could not determine from the coop culture site whether it did or if that was only included on the regular ticket for individuals? Thanks.

Mary, when you purchase the underground tour on the coopculture website, you will want to choose the "Full entrance ticket € 12,00 + guided tour € 9,00" option. It's mandatory to purchase full-entry tickets with a tour (exceptions noted below) and yes, those will allow you entrance to the Forum/Palatine for self-touring on your own.

The full-entry ticket is good for two consecutive days so you can either visit the Forum+Palatine (must be visited together) right after your Colosseum tour or the next day.

Ticketing choices are different for people using the Roma Pass, seeing the Colosseum with a personal guide or traveling with children under 12.

There are now several options for booking the underground tour. One comes with entry tickets that are timed to your tour and cannot be used earlier. You can also book the tour without entry tickets (free entry + tour) and buy entry tickets separately. The advantage to this is it allows you to visit the forum/palatine hill first. Be aware that if you go this route you'll want to book "open" tickets. These "open" tickets can only be used after 2 pm but can be used the day before your colosseum tour if you wish. IF you book "timed" tickets you'll only be able to use those tickets at the scheduled time.
