Colosseum underground tickets

Is there another way to buy tickets from the Parco Archeological site? We don't really want a tour. We were here many years ago, bought tickets online, but never did the entire underground level. I've checked at different hours of the day and nothing is available. We won't be there until mid October. If we have to choose a tour group who do you recommend? Thanks in advance.
