Anyone know why you can't book tours of the colosseum through coopculture? I keep looking to book an evening tour and it shows nothing available. I can't tell if it means fully booked or not listed as open for booking yet. Would appreciate any help. Trying to get tickets for mid December.
It's too early, they must be waiting for the next review of the Covid containment measures. Nobody else can book, don't worry too much about it.
Ditto to Dario: it's too early per the posted release procedure (which is probably COVID related.) Per the coopculture website for the evening tour:
https://www.coopculture.it/en/article/notice-for-colosseum-archaeological-park/
"Luna sul Colosseo will be extended from November 5, 2021 to January 8, 2022 and will be held on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm to 10pm (last admission at 8.30pm). The availability of the time slots for Friday and Saturday evenings will be released weekly in a gradual and progressive way, by date and time, on all sales channels."
So just keep checking back. Also, you did know that these tours are only on Fridays and Saturdays, right?
Hi Teri,
Last week, we were able to purchase underground/arena educational tours for Dec 12th through Coopculture. Be sure to check that option, it had available tickets whereas the normal arena/underground tour & regular entrance ticket showed no availability.
Amanda
Right. As Amanda said, I'm seeing availability in mid-December for the daytime, 24-euro tour I'd linked you with in an earlier post. So, I guess you can either wait for Luna sul Colosseo to become available for your dates (assuming that will happen over the next week or two) or book a daytime tour: those look to be selling briskly.
