Suggestions for companies you have used to tour the colloquium? I see that The Roman Guy isn't listing tours in a November (when I'll be in Rome). Why do you think that is?
Also, we've found an Angels and Demons tour. Has anyone done that?

We are big Dan Brown fans, and when Angels and Demons came out, we did our own tour through Rome. We just noted the churches on a map and literally followed the angel's pointing finger to the next location ! We had a fun afternoon.
If you take a tour, let us know how it was !
When we took friends to Rome last year, we did a Colosseum and Forum tour with Walks of Italy. The guide was excellent.

You mean the Colosseum? If you're looking for a tour JUST of the arena, why not take one of the €5 tours offered by the official website? You just buy a regular entry ticket ( € 14.00 through the website) and call to reserve/purchase a €5 tour over the phone. It's possible that you could purchase BOTH over the phone.

Roman Guy may be taking a much-needed vacation after a very busy season.
Requests for guided "Angels and Demons" tours have come up before, and it seems just as easy to simply do it on your own as you'll likely be passing by many of the locations en route to one attraction or the other anyway. Saves a lot of money and time repeating what you may have already been by. Carla's advice to mark the locations on a map is a good one, and here's also a self-guided itinerary you could print out.
