We would like to take the official $5E tour of the Colosseum in May and noticed that Rick said that the only place to get ressies for this service is on www.pierreci.it I have go ont to this confusing website and while they list the tour at the bottom of their page on Colosseum tickets, clicking on it does not give any way to obtain ressies for this tour. Does anyone have any advice on how to get ressies for this Colosseum tour? I thought we had to just get them at the information desk inside the Colosseum but then I saw what Rick just wrote this month and tried the www.pierreci.it to no avail. Thanks for any help on this.

Thank you but this just eventually dumps me into the same www.pierreci.it and cannot book ressie for tour just ticket to Colosseum.

That is because the hypogeum of the colosseum is still closed for repairs from the flood. Thus, the site does not allow you to book the special underground tour.

This past Monday, I booked a tour of the upper levels of the colosseum with Pierreci by calling their phone #. The underground portion is closed and the operator said it is uncertain when it will open. Cost was 19.50 euros which included the admission to the colosseum, forum and palatine hill. The tours of the upper levels had reopened March 2nd.

If the OP is talking about the underground tour then she won't be able to book yet as they are not available yet. She should be able to a regular tour or tickets. She didn't mention booking the underground tour so I assumed she meant the regular tour. Donna
