Colosseum tour booking - advice needed

We (my husband & I, age 29 & 30) will be in Rome next week (16-19 May). Thought to book via coopculture.it as recommended in the Rick Steves book of Italy. They only offer 3 tours on the site per day and all say Not Available - assuming it is already fully booked. Any other suggestions to book a tour and skip the line for a good price. They offered it online for €25. Any tips welcome as we will only be in Rome for 2,5 days so would be great not to stand in line for hours. Should we go early morning of later in the day?

You can book an English-language tour of the arena for € 5,00 + € 12,00 general entry ticket + € 2,00 reservation fee (€ 19,00 total pp.) on this page of the coopculture website:

You want to choose "full entrance € 12,00 + guided tour € 5,00" x 2.

There looks to be openings left next week. The tour doesn't do the Belvedere levels or underground but you can see down into the underground from the arena, and the guide will talk about it. Your tour booking will allow you to skip the very long ticket line but NOT the security-check queue - no one can skip that one - so be there 45 minutes or more early to get through that queue, which can be long, and to the place where you'll meet your tour.
