I’ve read that Coopculture releases the last batch of tix 7-14 days before any given date. I am going on May 19. Right now they are sold out. Should I start looking everyday. Am I correct on all this? Thanks

I've just gone around and around trying to sort the Colosseum tours - from Rick's book to the recommended websites. The site is a bit confusing.

Yep, there are "regular entrance" tickets available on May 19th. Be sure that you're not looking only at the first page of time slots, which all show as full? Click on numbers 2-9 under the calendar to see other available slots which may not have filled yet.
And hurry because they are going quickly!
Just so there's no confusion, the link above is not for guided-tour tickets. They're general-entry tickets for tourists who will be sightseeing the Colosseum/Forum/Palatine on their own.
