Colosseum tickets with Roma Pass

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids 13 & 15) will be traveling to Rome soon. I have recently reserved our Colosseum tickets online (2 Euro with Roma Pass) and it just now has occured to me that we hadn’t planned on buying Roma Passes for our children. When picking up our tickets at the Colosseum, will our children be turned away and/or have to wait in another line for their free Colosseum tickets? Would it be easier/time saving to just buy Roma Passes for them as well? Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.

Marion, this on the Roma Pass FAQ page:

http://www.romapass.it/en/FAQ/

For the Coliseum, visitors entitled to free admission who enter with
Roma Pass holders already booked an admission time, can collect the
free ticket at the ticket office skipping the queue purchasing the
booking fee.

And from the coopculture website:
https://www.coopculture.it/en/colosseo-e-shop.cfm

In the case of a group of people among which any of them are entitled
to free admission, they can collect the free ticket at the reservation
desk, paying the reservation fee of € 2.00 per person.

The way I read this, your children will enter with you (you're pass holders with a reservation/booked admission time) and you'll proceed to the reservation desk to get your kids' tickets (€ 2.00 per child). No, do not buy Roma Passes for them.
If someone reads this otherwise, I'm happy to stand corrected but I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. You could also email Roma Pass and ask:

Kathy, thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions! Can’t tell you how good it feels to have peace of mind about our Colosseum visit. I’ve heard so many stories about waiting in line for hours. Have a wonderful day!

You're very welcome, Marion! Wishing you a terrific trip to one of my favorite cities!
(Really, do drop a line to Roma Pass if you're still at all nervous about your Colosseum visit?)
