Colosseum Tickets...Help Please!

I'm having a really hard time trying to find the correct website to use for purchasing tickets to the Colosseum in October. I understand they have changed the vendor of these tickets, but am not sure if the places posting they have tickets are legit or not.
Can anyone who has been there recently help? Is there anyway to skip the line like in the past?
I appreciate any help!

The official website for Coliseum tickets is…
https://ticketing.colosseo.it/en/
If you want to be sure that you have a valid ticket, only purchase it from the official website. Third party sellers are only hoping that they will be able to obtain your ticket…if they cannot, they will cancel on you or try to switch you to another type of ticket or a different date or time…often at the last minute.
If you purchase your ticket in advance, you will be able to skip the often long line for tickets. But everyone still has to line up to go through security…there is no way to skip that line.

Hi - i was able to purchase tickets from the official site for Oct 7 and accidently bought too many (as one does when scrambling to try to get the page from erroring out or not showing any availability). If anyone needs, let me know as I’d hate for them to go to waste. I have 4 regular tickets and 2 attic ones. I’ll probably just give away to someone waiting in line otherwise since I can’t cancel them.

Just a reminder that all tickets are nominative...meaning they are specific to the purchaser. Your identity is checked against the name on the tickets at the entrance via your passports or other legal document.. This is to prevent ticket scalping. From the ticketing website:

"Starting from the 18th October 2023, the obligation of nominative tickets will be extended to all types of tickets available on the sales website, at the call centre and at the physical ticket offices. Your proof of identity must be kept on hand at the Park entrances together with the purchased ticket."

It is possible to change the names on the tickets but it has to be done by midnight 7 days prior to the date on the ticket.

"As of the 20th February 2024 it will be possible to change the name of the ticket holder for tickets purchased through the B2C channel. The modification will be possible only once, no later than midnight on the 7th day prior to the date on which the ticket is to be used."

So sorry, nuer78m you can't just give them to someone waiting in line for day-of tickets; without matching ID, the guards checking them will assume they're scalped or otherwise illegally obtained.

Oh well! They’ll go to the travel gods!
If anyone does need earlier, please let me know. I’m happy to transfer/update the name within the given timeframe as I’ve already considered them a sunk cost.
