I have been trying to get tickets to see the Colosseum the (underground - Colosseo+Palatino+Foro Romano) for September and have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have any help or information for me? Thank you in advance.

Dear Linda: So I have been waiting to buy colesseum tickets online with the underground/third tier-felt confident that the tour would be sufficient and did not want to pay $125 pp for an outside tour group. Well I kept trying to buy online and it was always unavailable! Seeing as my trip is just 2 weeks away, I was nervous that if I waited any longer we would not get in-so I called and sure enough the lady said online is not working! Thank God I was able to get my tickets via phone. I should get my payment confirmation tomorrow!!!! Afternoon time was all they had left.

Like Holly mentioned, you can call and book. I had the same issue and noticed I could only get tickets up until the last day of august. Maybe starting Sept 1st you can get September tickets?

For you Linda and anyone else interested, I just this afternoon received an e-mail message sharing that the Colosseum Management has now officially released reservations for the Underground area (through December 31, 2013). Go for it!

The website is still not working so the only way to book tickets or a tour is by calling. Donna
