Hi all:
Was just looking at the webcams and I guess a lot of the colosseum is under scaffolding for restoration. Anyone who has been recently - how much is covered? Do you know if there are good places to still get a good photo op?
Thanks!!
Kim

I was there a few weeks ago. Yes, the side facing the highway has scaffolding. However, still a lot of good photo ops without scaffolding - don't worry.

We were there 3 weeks ago, I agree with the last post. Remember to get your Roma Pass or tickets before you go as the line to get in was looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggg! We walked right in with the Roma Pass.
Yes you can still get good pictures but there is a lot of scaffolding. A big difference from last summer to this March.
George, thanks for the link to those webcams. Quite an impressive collection.
Just was at the colosseum today. Quite a bit of scaffold but still great to see. I would highly recommend going to the top of Victor Emmanual and see the great view. We went all the way to the top today and it really is a great view of Rome. right near the colosseum.
