I had that happened . Switch my browser to Chrome and it was fine.

I use Firefox and used the link in the original post. Got all the way up to where I needed to enter a name. Then I quit.

I've been blocked from the ticketing portal since the beginning of the year; changing devices and browsers didn't make a difference. I've gone back and forth with their IT/Help desk and they can't figure it out. I have the same issue with the Uffizi's ticketing site since they changed to Coopculture. I'd not had problems during the many years I'd been accessing ticketing for both attractions - and fortunately don't need tickets right now - but it's annoying when trying to access info in an effort to assist posters here. :O(

If you never get the ticket site to work or the day that you want sold out, don’t despair .

I was just there on September 12. I was able to walk up and purchase a combo ticket for the Colosseum and the Forum for €18. You get one entry to each site and you have 24 hours to use it.

The line to buy the ticket was about 20 minutes, and I was shocked that it was so easy to get a ticket same day.

The way the ticket worked was it was a timed ticket for the Colosseum, but you could go to the Forum at any time.

We went to the Colosseum first because that was our number one thing to see. The cobblestones around that area is a real workout on your feet and we did not have enough energy to see all of the forum. So my advice is to go to whichever one you want to see the most and do that first.

I have not been able to access the ticketing site when using my computer and my home wifi network - I also get the 403 error message about a blocked IP address. I can access it, though, when I use my phone and disconnect from my wifi network. For some reason the Colosseum website doesn't mind that IP address. So try using your phone without wifi to see if that works.

I know this sounds crazy, but this worked for us on another frustrating site:
Change the time on your phone /computer to local time. I have no idea why that worked, but we got that idea here on the Forum. Makes as much sense as anything......
