Colosseum Booking Woes

Has anyone experienced issues with booking tickets for the Colosseum? The main/official website has changed numerous times and this one seems like its the only functioning site: https://ticketing.colosseo.it/en/categorie/singoli-1-8-persone/

I am interested in booking a night/underground tour or even the “super sites” tour but it seems like these are not available currently? Everything is vague or missing and I don’t want to book on a third party. Has anyone had success for getting one of these tours? Thanks!

Here's a post that explains it. Good luck. We were online at 2:30am ET to get tix as they went on sale and they sold out in milliseconds. We tried for multiple start times and never had any luck.

The standard Colosseum/Forum 24 hour ticket is available for virtually every day from 5/15 to 6/13 - in many cases for later in the day. You can add a SUPER sites supplement for 4 Euro - this is for access, not a tour - scroll all the way to the bottom of the ticket page.

There is overwhelming demand for underground tickets - may be a matter of luck to score them.

The night tours have supposedly been discontinued.

Take advantage of being able to get a ticket - period.

Ok thanks y'all! I have read through that other thread and it seems like there's no real rhyme or reason on successfully booking any other ticket besides the standard 18Euro one.

I have been noticing a trend that these underground/arena tickets are showing availability for same day slots (mostly later afternoon). My new strategy is to book the standard access, get out there and check the underground/arena tickets same day during our dates in Rome. I don't know why there's an Italian flag under the text for this tour - I assume it is an Italian guided tour?

I will say that booking and researching the Colosseum has proven to be more challenging than any other spot for our Europe trip *Vatican was easier than this... Again, thank you for the advice/resources - I am grateful to be able to visit and cannot wait!
