Colosseum: Attic vs. Arena

On the new ticketing page (https://ticketing.colosseo.it/en/categorie/singoli-1-8-persone/), there are 3 options for full-priced tickets. The price is the same. Which should I try to book?

FULL EXPERIENCE TICKET WITH ENTRY TO THE ARENA OF THE COLOSSEUM or
FULL EXPERIENCE TICKET WITH ENTRY TO THE ATTIC OF THE COLOSSEUM or
FULL EXPERIENCE - UNDERGROUND LEVELS AND ARENA

It looks like the Arena and Attic are exclusive, is that right? Is one better than the other?

Thanks!!

Marni, the ticketing website has full descriptions of each of the tickets you've posted. I'm not sure what you mean by "exclusive" but they won't include anything that's not listed in those individual descriptions. For instance (to answer the question in your other post) FULL EXPERIENCE TICKET WITH ENTRY TO THE ATTIC OF THE COLOSSEUM does not include the arena or underground. FULL EXPERIENCE TICKET WITH ENTRY TO THE ARENA OF THE COLOSSEUM does not include the attic or underground. FULL EXPERIENCE - UNDERGROUND LEVELS AND ARENA does not include the attic.

There is no "better" ticket: it all depends on which of them sound most interesting to you. I will say that the Underground+ Arena ticket promises to be the most difficult to get your hands on. I've no idea if the same will apply to this new ticket vendor but historically they've been snatched up within minutes of becoming available. I would have an A, B and C choice if your first and second choices are already gone when you try to book.

We have just booked tickets for the Attico which allows you up the 5th level , it was very hard to get as they sell out within 30 seconds as do the underground.
This also gives you 2 days super pass access to the Forum and the Palatine Hills.
The tickets go on sale 30 days ahead at the time of the tours , so for us I started to apply at 07:50 UK time which is 08:50 Rome time.
I missed the first 2 slots 08:50 and 09:00 but got the 3rd slot using an atomic clock website and refreshing 3 seconds before 09:10.
The arena tickets are much easier to get.
Hope this helps

BTW the first 2 slots we missed which cost £20:50 each were being sold on a reseller for £330 each

And very probably sold illegally. ALL TICKETS are nominal, meaning they are purchased according to the customers' names and other ID info. That ID info is checked at the entry via the customers' passports. They're doing it this to try and eliminate this very form of scalping, if that indeed is what's happening in this example. If some random person bought them with the intent of selling them to some poor tourist unaware of how it works, that tourist will be out £330 and never get inside.

That doesn't mean that indy tour businesses can't acquire tickets for their tours - and charge much more for those tours than what's sold on the official website - but tickets cannot be resold on the street or on the net.
