Is it dumb to try to visit the Colosseum and do a Testaccio food tour on the same day?
I've got 3 days in Rome at the end of March. My plan so far is:
- Vatican Museum Tour (early), Borghese gallery tour (5pm), St. Peters in between if the line is short
- Colosseum, Forum, Testaccio food tour
- St. Peters (early if I didn't do it earlier), walking tour/catacomb/just wander around the Centro Storico
The Vatican and Borghese tours are already booked but I've still got a few days before I have to book Colosseum tickets. The Testaccio tours I'm looking at start around 10:30 and last around 4 hours (so until 2:30). Would it be feasible to visit the Colosseum first thing, do the Testaccio tour, then come back and visit the Forum? Or is there another way I can order things to make it work better?
