I am having trouble booking my tickets. Can you book a tour and print the tickets from home or do you have to go to a ticket window when you get there?

You can book the tour online but must pick up the tickets on site. You cannot print out tour tickets at home. You can print out entry tickets if you don't book them in combination with the tour and then call to book the tour. This will give you tickets in hand allowing you to visit the forum and palatine hill before your colosseum tour if you wish to. Donna

Thank you so much Donna. This is what I thought but was not sure. It can be confusing. Also, what are anyone's thoughts on the underground tour. They are booked on Sunday through the colosseum website but there are tickets available on some other sites Not sure to trust these sites and they are all different prices. Any responses would be appreciated.

I would book with the official site. You don't mention a date so I can't help you to get tickets. Donna

The underground tour is excellent! Not only do you get to go into the lower level where the animals, gladiators, sets, etc where staged to bring up to the arena, you get to see how they flooded the Colosseum for the mock sea battles. You also get to go onto the section of reconstructed arena and onto the 3rd level which is not accessible with general admission... Jim
