Hi - just wondering if anyone has visited the Colosseum recently? I was reading a website and the description got me confused. Are backpacks allowed? I would think that they would screen through our belongings at the entrance or something but are we not allowed to carry in our backpacks (like the backpack used in schools.)

By reading this I think you will be okay with a regular size backpack like used in schools.
